CIR Integral Centre or Resources

Objective

The general objective of the project is the work placement of the disabled to the offer of professional profiles required by the market by means of the development of innovative approaches and methods of individual accompanying and support that cater for personal needs that arise during the search for a job, as well as the reorientation necessary for Employment Integral Centres to compensate for the effects of relocation with the development of new fields of activities that maintain or create work opportunities for disabled people in the Basque Country.

Taking this reality of the work market into account, EHLABE and its associates (Gureak Protected Workshops, Lantegi Batuak Foundation, Katea-Legaia SLL, Usoa Lantegia) have set up an Integral Centre of Resources in the BAC for the period 2007-2013, whose objectives shall be centered in the need of:

• Adaptation and training of disabled women and men in the BAC through a state-of-the-art comprehensive service of support technology that allows us to cater for the special needs of the group and the changing requirements of the work market.
• Research and adaptation of work posts (in the CEE and in the ordinary work market) to the skill profile of each person. Minimizing or suppressing the existing gap through the specific adaptation and training processes described above, all that from a gender perspective.
• Implementation of an area of Investigation, Development and Innovation in Social Technology, specifically aimed to the disabled in the BAC.
